SOCK DRIVE
“ONE PAIR CAN MAKE A WORLD OF DIFFERENCE”
Join MCA participating in its 3rd annual Sock Drive! During the month of October, MCA will be collecting new dark colored socks for our homeless neighbors (women, men and children) living in shelters and on the streets .
Many people are surprised to hear that socks are the least-donated clothing items and yet the most in-demand for needy locals. We can supply much-needed care while also raising awareness of the plight of the homeless and the health issues they have often due to poor podiatric hygiene because they lack something as basic as a pair of new, clean socks.
