2007-08 Tuition Schedule

Annual Tuition: $6,500

Monthly Tuition: $675

Annual Registration & Materials Fee: $550 + $150 = $700

The $550 registration and $150 materials fee is required upon the signing and returning of application forms. It includes the insurance fees for the school year. The registration fee applies to all students and is not refundable.
Workbook fees will be charged to your account, throughout the year, on as needed basis.
Tuition for the school year 2007 - 2008 is $6,500/year which will be divided in 10 monthly payments of $650.00 from August to May.
Half-Day Price (8:30 am - 12 m) is $550.00/month.
All monthly tuition payments are to be paid on the fifth of each month for 10 months, from August to May.
Payment is due the 1st of the month. Any payment received after the 5th, will incur a $30 late payment.
Returned checks will not be re-deposited, and will incur a $30 service charge. Thereafter, fees must be paid in cash, money order, cashier's check or credit card.
Students are accepted on a two-month probationary basis, beginning on the first day of class attendance.
Once a student is enrolled for the school year and documents have been signed, parents are responsible for the full yearly tuition, with no exceptions for missed school time. Each student is admitted for the full school year (10 months). Tuition for the school year is not subject to credits or refunds because of absence, illness, or withdrawal from the school. The only exception is for those children who do not meet probationary standards.
Before school care is $2.00 a day for children who arrive between the hours of 7:00 am and 8:00 am. After school care is $2 per half an hour with a maximum of $80 per month. Pre-paid unlimited before and after care is $80 a month. After 6:00 p.m. is $1.00 per minute. Lunch is $4 a day, and must be paid at the beginning of the month with the tuition. If charges are not paid at the beginning of the month, they will be added on at the end of that month.

Admissions Procedure

Our school has a non-discriminatory admissions policy of enrollment for children starting at two years to 5th grade.

Tour the school, observe the classrooms, and meet with Admissions personnel.
Complete an Application for Admission Form and submit non-refundable Registration Fee.
Schedule a meeting between family and Director of school.
Schedule a meeting between directress and prospective student.
Placement and acceptance by directress and head of school.
Parents complete Student Record forms and MCA contract. Return to administration with necessary fees prior to actual school attendance.
Attend Parent Orientation Meetings.

In January prior to the eligible school year, MCA has preferential status for incumbent students and siblings of incumbent students. A letter and an Intent to Return Form is sent home in backpacks and posted. Returning students must return the Intent Form and siblings must return the Intent Form and an Application for Admission Form.

Preferential status for new students who are siblings exists until the specified date on the Intent to Return letter. After that date, incumbent students and all siblings of incumbent students lose their preferential enrollment status for all programs during the entire school year. This policy allows for the school to plan enrollment and allows new families to plan for admission to the school. After the date specified on the Intent to Return letter, enrollment will be first-come, first-serve basis in accordance with the date on the Application for Admission Form except in the case of alumni or Montessori transfer students.
